A case study was carried out on the following property with a view to reducing the property’s annual energy consumption.

Type: 300mm Block Cavity
Size: 1,250 sq/ft

A Building Energy Rating assessment was carried out on before any remedial works were under taken. A BER cert was produced using DEAP software. The resulting cert shows an E2 rating with an estimated annual energy spend of €3,366. To see average ratings for second hand properties click here.
